When hackers are targeting our teams with customized cyber attacks, we need to match the threat with training that matches our specific demands. And there’s no better way to do this than to learn from those already delivering this tailored training.
On October 14, we had the pleasure of hosting a Riot webinar dedicated to Studio, our module that makes it easier to create and share training and communication content through the Albert editor.
On this occasion, two guests joined us to share their hands-on experience with Studio: Tania Diaz, Cyber Defense Engineer at ANFH, and Arnaud Sobczak, CISO at Centreon.
Their testimonials perfectly illustrate how creating, sharing, and measuring customized content can strengthen teams’ cyber resilience and proactively defend against the latest attacks. Here, we’ll share their top tips and advice.
1) Create your own content with Albert
With Studio, you can create content quickly using four different methods: import a PDF, paste a URL, write an AI prompt, or start from a blank page. The module generates a clear, interactive course that you can later edit, enrich with quiz questions, and illustrate with visuals – all while maintaining Albert’s fun and informal tone of voice.
Our guests each had their own way of using Studio.
As Tania explained, the goal at ANFH is to have specific content tailored to the tools used internally:
“We developed content linked to the use of technical tools specific to ANFH in order to effectively train employees on practices and protocols adapted to our environment.”
Tania also emphasized Studio’s role in everyday awareness:
“Studio has allowed us to deliver clear and accessible information on cybersecurity. (…) For example, in October, during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we raised awareness about malware targeting password managers.”
At Centreon, Arnaud found Studio to be an excellent complement to Albert’s standard courses:
“For us, the use case is a bit different: we use Albert for all default training sessions and it works very well, but the idea was to strengthen these trainings by sending more specific content. (…) All the monitoring content we generate within the teams, we think it’s worth sharing more broadly.”
As Arnaud explains, he relies on a targeted approach to sharing content:
“We have a security guild that shares awareness content on specific topics within their respective tech teams. (…) It works really well, because the content is highly targeted — both technically and for the right audience.”
2) Share content at the right time, with the right audience
Once content is created, it still needs to be shared with the right audience, at the right time. Studio includes advanced targeting features and completion statistics, making it possible to adjust campaigns and measure impact.
Arnaud shares his content live, directly targeting Centreon’s teams. He insists on the importance of precision in audience selection:
“It would be counterproductive to share content broadly with the entire company. (…) Targeting is absolutely essential.”
As he explains, it’s crucial to know who has — or has not — engaged with Albert’s internal communications:
“It allows us to evaluate the audience and measure the success or failure of a specific communication. With Albert’s stats, we know if the messages got through, and whether we need to adapt.”
At ANFH, Tania takes a slightly different approach. Instead of ad-hoc communications, she configures an entire year of awareness training with Studio courses. The main reason comes down to one word: personalization.
“After a very general first year, we decided to optimize and personalize the courses based on feedback. (…) The idea was to make employees see, in concrete terms, how it applies to their daily work.”
Here, we have two very different approaches to sharing Studio content: Arnaud focuses on targeted, real-time internal communications, while Tania prefers a year-long program tailored to her audience.
3) The value of Studio in one word: Adaptation
From Tania’s and Arnaud’s testimonials, three main benefits of Studio stand out: time savings, easier content sharing, and measuring impact.
“A real time-saver thanks to AI,” summarizes Tania. “Studio allowed us to quickly produce modules tailored to ANFH’s specific technical tools, while staying aligned with our educational needs. (…) Structuring content in a clear, interactive way — whether for courses, internal communications, or support.”
Arnaud agrees:
“It’s super fast to create a summary with key points: a real time-saver for everyone.”
He also adds:
“On top of that, we can measure impact: knowing whether the communication was understood, and adapting if needed. It’s a valuable lever.”
To push content personalization even further, it’s now possible to remix Riot-created courses to tailor them to specific teams — for example, sharing a “Passwords” course with more technical content for your IT team.
Conclusion
In short, what we take away from this session — and what you can take away from this summary — is the freedom that Studio provides. Whether to launch a full awareness program (as at ANFH) or to deliver targeted, reactive communications (as at Centreon), Studio can help cyber teams everywhere meet the challenge posed by today’s hackers.
